We are so excited to have you here with us at Pages and Pleasures Ottawa 2026!
Tell us why you chose Romance and tell us a little bit about one of the books you will have at the event.
I choose romance because I love reading it. Romance makes us feel, whether it’s good, bad, frustrated, happy, sad, we get all the feels in order to chase that HEA.
My book- The Trouble With Dating Lexi- is a second + chance, dating romance. It is spicy and has multiple-love interests, but is NOT a why choose. It’s really about finding oneself, rebuilding and learning to love again. And why not have several hot men to choose from?!
Tell us about yourself and let us know where to find you!
I'm a Canadian romance author who writes stories that keep it sassy & steamy (K.I.S.S.)
I’m an avid snacker and I drink coffee like a Gilmore Girl, which I need to chase around my house full of kids, and spoiled pets. When I'm not busy with the kiddos, I'm either plotting our next cruise, watching reality TV with the hubs or glued to a smutty book. Research of course... ;)

What does a typical writing day look like for you (if such a thing exists)? No such thing exists. Everyday is different and I don’t write every day. I should but between working FT, the kids, life it’s exhausting. The days I do write, I use sprints. If I can manage to get in three sprints of maybe 30-45 minutes I am happy with that. It doesn’t seem like it’s a lot of time plus I tend to be able to hyper focus in that dedicated time and often can more done then sitting in front of the computer for 5 hours straight.
What’s the hardest part of being an author that readers might not realize?
Motivation. I procrastinate all the time and to find that motivation to focus without a tight deadline is hard for me.
Tell us about your books. What subgenre of romance do you write and why do you love it? (e.g., contemporary, historical, paranormal, spicy)? I write spicy, contemporary. Rom-Com-Dram. I love writing complicated, but badass FMCs that are flawed and need a little extra shove into the right direction by their meddling besties.
What themes or tropes do you love exploring in your stories? I love messy love.
There’s something about character growth or being able to find oneself or stand up for themselves because they found someone that gave them the courage to find a new perspective and breakdown the walls they built up. It’s messy and complicated and yet 100% worth it. And I hope that’s what my readers find in my stories.
If one of your characters could give you life advice, who would it be and what would they say? Lisa, she is my FMCs BF in Chasing Hartes. She doesn’t hold back! She would probably give me the best advice, in an tough love, get-off-your-ass-and-do-it attitude.
What’s your go-to comfort read when you need a little romance magic yourself? I love rom/coms. I need to laugh out loud and feel the chemistry.
Thank you again for sharing your time, talent, and stories with us. We’re honored to have you as part of Pages and Pleasures Ottawa. Your words bring joy, escape, and connection to readers—and we can’t wait to celebrate you!
