We are so excited to have you here with us at Pages and Pleasures Kitchener 2026!
Tell us why you chose Romance and tell us a little bit about one of the books you will have at the event.
I chose to write romance because I adore love stories and deep dives into the psychology of the human condition. As a character-driven writer, the intricacies of these relationships and the personalities behind them, provide endless inspiration!
Cassidy London is a Canadian Bestselling Author who has been in love with scandalous steamy romances ever since she can remember. She loves how they provide a unique combination of romantic escapism and women’s empowerment. Cassidy has published 16 spicy contemporary romance novels since 2017. Her work spans a range of sub-genres such as: rock star, dark, travel, small town and romantic suspense.
In 2023, Cassidy published the charity anthology called FIGHT LIKE A GIRL: A Charity Romance Anthology to Benefit Breast Cancer Research. As a stage 2 breast cancer survivor, this is a cause that is very close to Cassidy’s heart and one that she continues to support, both through book sales and donations she collects during events.
When she’s not writing or reading spicy books, Cassidy can be found masquerading as a wine drinking, yoga practicing, suburban mom in Montreal, Canada.

What inspired you to start writing romance?
Actually, it was my husband who was the inspiration! After going through a burnout in my previous career, he encouraged me to pick up writing again. Back in university, I’d been a Creative Writing/English Lit major, but I hadn’t written in years.
How did your journey as an author begin—and what kept you going?
At first, I wrote a couple of short stories, then I did some freelance work for others and eventually got up the courage to write my first novel. It was such an incredible experience and things just took off from there.
What does a typical writing day look like for you (if such a thing exists)?
Nothing is typical for me! I’m very much a creative who needs each day to look different. Sometimes I write early in the morning, other times it’s the middle of the night. However, my favourite spot would be a cozy coffee shop with a pretty view.
If you didn’t write Romance, what other genre would you write?
Other than romance, I really love reading thrillers. Maybe I’ll delve into that one day!
If you could get stuck in one of the worlds, you created which one would it be and why?
This one is easy! Hands down, I’d choose my 90s rock stars world from the Dirty Rock series! These books are set in the mid 1990’s – right in the heart of music’s grunge era. The nostalgia is everything!
Are any of your characters based off real-life people?
Conor Murphy is the hero of Freefall, and he was based in part by a skydiving instructor that I once had. Skydiving was a wild experience and one that I had no idea would end up inspiring a book! When our hero and heroine jump from the plane is an actual account, moment by moment of what happened when I went skydiving.
