We are so excited to have you here with us at Pages and Pleasures Kitchener 2026!
Tell us why you chose Romance and tell us a little bit about one of the books you will have at the event.
I choose romance because I love reading it. Romance makes us feel, whether it’s good, bad, frustrated, happy, sad, we get all the feels in order to chase that HEA.
My book- The Trouble With Dating Lexi- is a second + chance, dating romance. It is spicy and has multiple-love interests, but is NOT a why choose. It’s really about finding oneself, rebuilding and learning to love again. And why not have several hot men to choose from?!
I'm a Canadian romance author who writes stories that keep it sassy & steamy (K.I.S.S.)
I’m an avid snacker and I drink coffee like a Gilmore Girl, which I need to chase around my house full of kids, and spoiled pets. When I'm not busy with the kiddos, I'm either plotting our next cruise, watching reality TV with the hubs or glued to a smutty book. Research of course... ;)

Tell us about your books. What subgenre of romance do you write and why do you love it? (e.g., contemporary, historical, paranormal, spicy)?
I write spicy, contemporary. Rom-Com-Dram. I love writing complicated, but badass FMCs that are flawed and need a little extra shove into the right direction by their often meddling besties.
Do you have one moment that you can remember where you interacted with a reader and realized “Oh my gosh, I am an actual author!”? If so what was it.
My very first signing happened earlier this year and someone came up to my table, and gushed about my newly released book! They had no idea I’d be at the event, and they were excited to meet me. I was so floored that someone knew who I was, I think I was dumbfounded for an entire minute.
What themes or tropes do you love exploring in your stories?
Second Chance. My first 2 books are second chance, and it wasn’t something I planned, it just worked that way. I like exploring themes we don’t commonly see, like my young widower (28). There’s so much story that can from having to rebuild, it’s truly a challenge.
If you could get stuck in one of the world you created which one would it be and why?
Tell us about a favourite author and reader interaction you have ever had. I got to meet my some of my favourite authors last year, at Readers Take Denver, and I was starstruck. I felt like I was barely able to speak in complete sentences because I was so nervous. They were so lovely and kind and even gave me some encouragement on my own author path.
If one of your characters could give you life advice, who would it be and what would they say? Lisa, she is my FMCs BF in Chasing Hartes. She doesn’t hold back! She would probably give me the best advice, in an tough love, get-off-your-ass-and-do-it attitude.
If your writing style were a cocktail or dessert, what would it be—and why?
Dessert. A loaded chocolate chip cookie with nuts, chocolate chunks, coconut & caramel. It’s salty & sweet, and full of good stuff.
What’s your go-to comfort read when you need a little romance magic yourself?
Anything by Meghan Quinn!
